This weekend the 10U team, (sponsored by Achieve Movement Health Clinic), hosted the 10U/Minor Mosquito A and Under Tournament at Lions Park and ended the weekend as Champs!
Playing under the lights on Friday night, the Giants took on Brantford Red Sox, winning the game 13-3.
Back at the diamond Saturday morning, the team faced the East York Bulldogs. The Giants were the first to get on the board in the first and never looked back, winning 10-0. The team kept up the momentum in the second game of the day, overtaking Tillsonburg Otters by a score of 13-4. The third game of the day wrapped up after four innings, with our Giants winning over Kingsville Knights by a score of 12-2.
On Sunday, the Giants had a rematch with Kingsville in the Semis. This time the 10U team didn’t allow any runs, finishing the game 12-0. In the Championship game, the 10U team faced the neighbouring Tillsonburg Otters. Although the Giants surrendered one run in the first inning, the team answered back quickly and continued to add onto the runs, taking the game 11-1.
