18U Tournament Recap
This weekend the 18U team hosted the first annual Lisa Dedrick Memorial 18U/Midget tournament at Memorial Park, ending the weekend as Champions!
After a touching tribute to the memorial tournament’s namesake, Lisa Dedrick, the team played their first game on Friday evening, winning 8-0.
The team continued the streak Saturday morning, winning 13-3 over Kitchener before falling 10-4 to Chatham in the afternoon.
The team rallied Sunday morning during the semifinals, winning the game 2-1 over Burlington.
In the finals, the 18U team came up against Chatham, again, and the final score of 10-4 was replicated … but this time Simcoe came out on top, resulting in another hometown championship.
