9U Tournament Recap
This weekend the 8U and 9U teams hosted the 9U / Rookie Tournament which saw the 9U team ending the weekend as Champs!
Friday started out with the 8U team facing Burlington, ending in a 9-2 loss, while the 9U team battled LaSalle, pulling ahead to an 11-6 win.
Saturday morning the 8U and 9U teams went head-to-head, with the 9U team coming out on top by a score of 15-5.
Both teams had afternoon wins, with the 8U team winning over Delhi by a score of 16-5, and the 9U team winning over Caledonia by a score of 20-10.
Sunday morning the 8U team faced Caledonia in the Quarterfinals, coming up short in a 20-3 loss.
The 9U team received a bye to the Semifinals where they faced Delhi, winning 18-0.
In the Finals, the 9U team came up against LaSalle, again, winning 14-11 ... resulting in another hometown championship!
