11U Tournament Recap
This weekend the 11U team hosted the 11U/Major Mosquito Tournament at Lions Park, going undefeated, and ended the weekend as Champs!
Playing in their first game Friday evening, the team won 9-2 over Waterdown.
On Saturday, the team kept the momentum going with a decisive 15-5 win over Chatham to start the day before taking on Brockton, winning 10-8.
On Sunday, the 11U team had a rematch against Chatham and, although they battled it out for the first half of the game, the 11U team put up a 4-run inning in the fifth inning and held on to win 10-6.
The Finals saw Simcoe coming up against Waterdown, who they met in the Finals of last year's tournament. The Giants came out with another win, ending the game 14-5 and becoming tournament Champs.
